Most aircraft manufacturers provide the owner with a huge
amount of information to improve the aircraft they make.

This information may come in the form of Service Bulletins,
Customer Information Bulletins, and others.
Part 91 Compliance with these publications is not
mandatory regardless of the classification of the information,
unless
referenced in an AD, the manufacturer's recommended
inspection program, or the TCDS as required.
This information is for the
asset management value
for the owner.
Operators / Pilots have no responsibility for the incorporation
of any of this information unless required as indicated above.

the inspection or maintenance requirements.
Communication of incorporation of a SB, CIB, or other:

Maintenance:
  • Maintenance entry per 43.9 or 43.11 as required
  • Update to the Equipment List and Weight and Balance
    information of an equipment change was involved

Pilots:
  • Additional Flight Manual Supplement, Pilot Advisory, or
    possibly placards
  • Updated Weight and Balance numbers
Tracking for easy reference:

Each of these information groups can be easily tracked in a
spreadsheet format using only four column headings.

Bulletin Number, Subject, Applicable (enter Y or N), and
incorporated (enter Y or N).

A quick scan tells what is applicable that has or has not
been accomplished.  Using a data search on the Y/N
columns can quickly create a report on what is done and
what is available for your aircraft.
